It's official, I'm signed up to run the Rock 'n Roll half marathon in Savannah, GA in November and... A full marathon in Charleston, SC in January. Gulp! Stuff just got real.

Summer Fun

My Table Redo

I just finished my kitchen table redo. I painted the base with Annie Sloan's chalk paint in Cocoa, the top in Graphite, and the chairs in a mix of Cocoa and Country Gray. I did loads of sanding and layering then of course added a coat of clear wax and a coat of dark wax. I also added a stenciled design to the top and reupholstered the chair cushions in a traditional pattern. I love the outcome. Since this table will get a lot of use, I topped it with glass so it can be washed easily.

Last night it was an honor to celebrate 50 years of marriage with my favorite couple MJ and Tom Cunningham. Here's to many more years!

Diverse Work
